WHAT WILL THIS ROLE OF KITCHEN AND JOINERY FITTER ENTAIL?
Reporting to the Installations Manager, as a Kitchen / Furniture Fitter you will work on a wide variety of projects, fitting bespoke kitchens and furniture. You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time and to the required high standard. Maintaining a professional and positive attitude, you’ll deliver a fantastic service to customers across a diverse range of customer sites.
WHAT WILL I NEED IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS KITCHEN AND JOINERY FITTER VACANCY?
You will need to have a full UK driving licence and be minimum age 25 as stipulated by the company’s insurance to drive the company vehicles. In addition;
- Be a time served fitter or bench joiner, and / or qualified to NVQ level 2 or 3 in either fitting or joinery
- Basic plumbing and electric skills would be advantageous
- Professional customer service approach
- Ability to, at times, work on your own
- Understanding of traditional cabinetry methods
- A keen eye for detail and experience of fine finishes
- Ability to work to fine tolerances
- Experience of using basic cabinetry tools
WHAT WILL I RECEIVE IN RETURN?
Your quality workmanship and significant efforts to exceed customer expectations will be noticed and well rewarded with a competitive salary in the region of £26,000 to £32,000 in line with your experience and qualifications.
You will be employed on a permanent contract with full time hours. Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, although flexibility with start and finish times is available if customer and business requirements are met.
The company premises are located in Great Barrow near Chester, however there will be considerable travel to customer sites to undertake installation work, which will mainly be within North West England. You will have access to a company vehicle to visit customer sites.
